Why Sober Living

For a lot of people in recovery, moving into a sober living home after treatment makes the difference between going back to their old habits or continuing on the path of sobriety.

Independent Living

Sober Living is an essential stage of recovery. Sober Living Connections provides recovery clients with a safe, structured and drug-free environment for independent living.

At Sober Living Connections you own your recovery. As you work your program, we assist with the continuity of care recommended by your clinical therapist or health professional.

You are not alone. Sober Living Connections is a community of your peers. We work with men seeking assistance in early recovery, who are serious about their sobriety, who wish to surround themselves with others with like-wise goals, and who want success in recovery.

Why We Are Different

Sober Living Connections is not here for your dollar. We’re here for your recovery. We do things differently than most sober living homes because we believe a different approach is more effective in helping men reach their recovery goals.

Many of our competitors stack 3 and 4 guys in a bedroom with bunk-beds just so they can make more money. We don’t. We only offer single and double (1 roommate) rooms because it’s important for men to be invested in their surroundings and care about the things happening around them.

We offer the freedom to work, volunteer, attend recovery programs and live life on life’s terms while also providing the accountability that men in early recovery need. We wish for all of our clients to succeed; however, sometimes in recovery, things do go exactly as planned.

We don’t believe in ‘shooting our wounded’. Many sober homes will discharge a client the first time something happens. We believe this just perpetuates the addiction and homelessness. We take each case individually, but generally, if a client can be honest about what has happened, we will work with that client to get him back on track and moving in the right direction again.
